    Terms of Service

    1. Agreement to Terms

    By engaging the services of Taylored Handyman Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Taylored Handyman Services is a locally owned and operated handyman company based in Eagle, Idaho, serving homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley including Boise, Meridian, Star, Nampa, Middleton, Caldwell, and Kuna.

    2. Services Provided

    We provide general handyman and home maintenance services including, but not limited to: TV mounting, furniture assembly, minor plumbing repairs, house painting, drywall repair, pest control, ceiling fan installation, pressure washing, dryer vent cleaning, tankless water heater flushing, trampoline assembly, fencing repair, and other residential maintenance and repair tasks. The specific scope of each job will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

    3. Quotes and Pricing

    We provide free, no-obligation estimates for our handyman services. Quoted prices are based on our assessment of the work required at the time of the estimate. If additional work is discovered during the course of a job, we will inform you of the additional cost before proceeding. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for materials, complexity, or scope changes with your prior approval. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    4. Scheduling and Cancellations

    We strive to accommodate your preferred scheduling and offer same-day availability when possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or for no-shows. We will make every effort to arrive within the agreed-upon time window and will notify you promptly of any delays.

    5. Subcontractors

    Taylored Handyman Services may, from time to time, engage qualified subcontractors or business partners to assist in the completion of jobs. When subcontractors are used, we will share only the information necessary for the successful completion of your service request, such as job details, location, and scope of work. We remain responsible for the quality of work performed on your behalf regardless of whether a subcontractor is involved.

    6. Warranty and Workmanship

    We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of a completed job, please contact us within 30 days and we will work to resolve the issue promptly at no additional charge. This warranty covers the labor and workmanship provided by Taylored Handyman Services and does not cover pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by the Customer after completion of the work. Any manufacturer warranties on materials or products installed remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.

    7. Customer Responsibilities

    You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, clear the immediate work area of personal belongings or fragile items when possible, ensure that pets are secured during service appointments, and disclose any known hazards such as asbestos, mold, or structural damage in the work area. Failure to disclose known hazards may result in work stoppage and additional charges.

    8. Membership Plans

    We offer optional Home Maintenance Plans on a monthly subscription basis. Membership details, pricing, and included services are outlined on our Memberships page. Memberships may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice. Unused services within a billing period do not roll over. Membership discounts apply only to services performed by Taylored Handyman Services and cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by Idaho law, Taylored Handyman Services' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. We carry general liability insurance to protect both our team and our customers.

    10. Property Damage

    We take every precaution to protect your property during service. In the unlikely event that damage occurs as a direct result of our work, please notify us within 48 hours. We will inspect the damage and, if determined to be caused by our work, arrange for repair or compensation. Pre-existing damage or conditions not caused by our work are not our responsibility.

    11. Governing Law

    These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ada County, Idaho.

    12. Modifications

    We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
